Leaves are starting to change, a bit cool in the morning. Leather jacket time in the evening and shorter days. Great time of year, but doesn't last long enough. OT - disability insurance

About 15-20 years ago my neighbor (and friend) was shot in the stomach by his cousin (a .22 and an accident). So anyway the sight of the wound has started to herniate (sp?). The surgery requires a 6 week recovery. Insurance will cover the surgery, but he can't collect on his disability insurance because it is a "pre-existing"... more »

Motorcycle Parking Etiquette

I am returning to riding after a number of years and would like a pointer on parking etiquette. Is it acceptable to pull into a taken parking space if there is enough room for a second bike? What if there is a parking meter involved? Personally, I wouldn't care if someone shared a space with me but I don't want to step on any toes.... more »

OH, Yes. Saddle had a nice Ducati top line sport tourer "ST4s" that wouldn't start, to be damned, at 40 degree temps or less. I live in hot AZ where winter temps occasionally drop into the 20's in the morning but he lives in Ohio near Akron, I think, where it gets lots colder. Don't let him BS you about the GREATNESS of the Ducati brand:)... more »
