I'm all confused about Suzuki's product offerings. What is the purpose of a V-twin sportbike? How would a 600cc 4-cylinder sportbike compare to a V-twin of the same displacement? And the bars seem to be up a bit higher, too. I'm not understanding the big picture.

Honda CBX - Was dealer and gas mileage claims

...<snip> ...That 1979 CBX I own, gets about 27 mpg, yet it runs perfect. Perhaps a tad rich. The carbs are something I don't want to fuck with until I have to. And, no matter what, I don't think I could ever get 50mph out of it.

I have a 250 cc Hyosung that gives me around 65 mpg. I see some milage claims for BMW 650 cc bkes of 60 mpg or more. Is this right? A bike with an engine that is 2.6 times as large gives nearly the same milage as the smaller bike? Thanks for any info on the BMW 650.
